Problems in the world of iTunes – stolen passwords and/or hacked accounts

It seems that yesterday people were throwing fitz over the web on how cyber criminals had managed to get into their iTunes accounts and make small or even expensive purchases. Crime is crime – but it is interesting to see how journalists and laymen are quick to jump into conclusions instead of waiting for proper investigation.

iTunes has done to online music / app -purchase what Amazon first did to books and other items, make it fun, fast and convenient – as there was no hassle to put your credit card information again and again. Just one click purchases and you were done. This convenience comes with a price if your account gets compromised.

Let’s see if Apple makes any statements about what really has happened.
